10 Items You Can Get With The New Amex Platinum $100 Dell Statement Credit

Having a travel credit card comes with many incentives from flight interruption insurance to free upgrades. The Platinum Card® from American Express rolled out a very generous offer to their card holders in collaboration with Dell. After enrolling your Amex, spend $100 or more on the site and get back $100 from now through Jan. 31, 2021 as a one-time statement credit.

I have been an AMEX cardholder for the past 7 years and I have never seen an offer like this. It is usually along the lines of “Spend $50 or more, get $10 back” or “Get 25% back on a single purchase, up to $150”. Seeing that I will get back what I spent with a 3-digit figure is very enticing. The best part is that it does not have to be a single purchase, meaning that you can make multiple purchases amounting to $100.

In order to qualify, be sure to add this offer to your card and shop on Dell.com/amexplat. If you aren’t used to Dell products then you are thinking about what can you really buy. I have compiled a list of items you can “purchase” with this offer that can be useful, especially if you are a content creator or small business.

sd card

SD Cards: $6.99 - $119.99

SD cards are literally gold if you take a lot photos or videos. “I have too many SD cards,” said no one ever! You can either buy a few small GB’s or go for the big WIN with 512 GB for $119.99. Though you will have to add some extra coins. It would be completely worth it for the storage.

Portable Charger: $10.99 - $79.99

If you’re constantly saying “my phone died” then it’s time to invest in your own portable charger.. This is essential for day trips where an outlet isn’t near. I would go for a compact one like this Urban Factory Powerbank Lipstick that can fit easily into my purses. You can also opt for a bigger powerbank that would have enough power to charge 5 phones fully.

USB Cable $10.99 - $24.99

I must confess, I am a USB freak! I need a USB for my car, my room, my living room, and one for when I’m on the go. For me it’s annoying floating one USB around, and don’t let me forget it in my car once I’m already inside. I might just let my phone die before making that walk. This 5-pack for $24.99 sounds like a STEAL to me! (hopefully they work properly)

Portable Bluetooth Speaker: $29.99 - $119.99

I think we can agree that everyone loves to listen to some soothing sounds. Whether it is from music, an audio book or podcast, we want sharp sounds without headphones. Bluetooth speakers are perfect for in home and traveling use. This Vision Tek is a great price of $29.99 for when your music can’t be too loud. This Bose SoundLink raves high reviews for $99.

external hard drive

External Hard Drive: $59.99 - $134.99

Whether you want to free up some space on your laptop or on your phone an external hard drive is useful for storing those memories. Using up too much storage does slow down your devices. I would go for this Seagate 4TB one for $104.99, which is double the storage than their 2TB which costs $99.99 for a $5 difference.

Wireless Charging Pad: $29.99 - $59.99

A problem solver for those with too many cords all over the place. What I love about wireless charging pads is that everything is in one place neatly. My personal favorite is this mophie dual wireless charging pad because there is room for your iPhone, Airpods, and watch.

drone

Drone: $99+

For basically nothing you can get an introductory drone to help you get your flying skills up. Flying a drone isn’t as easy as it look, take it from someone who broke theirs moments after opening it. I personally would spend the extra money and get this Bluetooth, WiFi combo for $59.99 more.

Vizio Smart TV: $139.99+

You can’t go wrong with a TV that already has all of the necessary streaming apps installed. This buy is over $100, but paying a$59.99 for a 32” TV is better than any Black Friday deal I have ever seen. Or even better, paying $39.99 for a 24”. The best part is that you don’t have to set an alarm or scramble for this one.

google wifi

Google WiFi: $99

If you live in a home with different levels or an older home with thick walls, the Wi-Fi may not hit the same in every room. Google Wifi is a home mesh Wi-Fi system that replaces your traditional router and provides seamless, reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home. This is pivotal for those working from home.

Adobe: $99+

Another one the creatives out there. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Adobe Creative Cloud are available for download. These subscriptions are pricey, so this is a dream for those who edit their content to perfection.

When most people think of Dell.com they seem to think of only Dell as a brand. The website offers many other brands. Howbeit, I am sure you will be able to find a new piece of technology that fits your lifestyle. This offer does not end until 2021 so you do have some time to think about it.

Again, before you make your purchase be sure to see if you were targeted for Amex Platinum Dell statement credit and add it to your card. Also check to see if there are any additional incentives like this one, where you will get an additional spent per dollar spent. We love maximizing our earning over here.
