If you’re in Berlin and looking for a hotel whose presentation is worth your big dollars then Sir Savigny Hotel is the one. I randomly came across this hotel and fell in love with their suite. Though it wasn’t the cheapest option, it also wasn’t the most expensive.

Location

This hotel is a 4.4 miles (about 15 minutes ride) from Berlin Tegel Airport and 16 miles (about 25 minutes ride) from Berlin Schonefeld Airport. Conveniently located in a great location with a 3 minute walk to the train station and a short ride to city central.

Check IN/Service

Check in was quick and easy. I checked in hours before their scheduled check in time, I was able to use their public bathroom to freshen up and they stored my luggage until my room was ready. All of the employees were pleasant and helpful with great hospitality. I personally feel like Berlin is just a great happy place lol. The lobby/waiting area had a plethora of books and magazines with The New York Times handily available.

As I waited I decided to try out their breakfast which is an extra 11 euro per person. I would’ve preferred to eat at a local spot but I decided to eat here because my stomach was literally touching my back. Breakfast was decent, nothing to rave about, but it was more of a snack than a meal.

Room

The room I stayed in was their Sir Suite, which was exactly what I expected based on photos. I feel like it was too pricey per night for the size (there are less expensive rooms). It wasn’t spacious like the suites I am used to but it was absolutely gorgeous. It was small but not too cramped. The decor is modern and fancy. I’ve stayed at many hotels and this has to be the most fabbbbulous room I’ve stayed in. The massive king size bed was comfortable and even the linens felt luxurious against my skin. The tub in the room in front of the wall unit added a great touch.

Amenities

A pro about this hotel is that there is a restaurant right downstairs with different selections if you’re hungry. At night it becomes a lit bar with artsy eclectic locals, so you don’t have to stray to far for a good time either. There is a beautiful indoor and outdoor area.

I enjoyed my stayed here and would definitely return. Book Sir Savigny Hotel here and use this link to save $25!
